Intercast is a North American investment casting company with a manufacturing operation in Reynosa, Mexico and operations in McAllen, Texas. Our history spans decades of change and growth, while our focus remains centered on helping customers manufacture complex cast components.
Who We Are
Intercast's roots in investment casting date back to 1949. Over the decades, the company has evolved through new ownership, expanded manufacturing operations and changing customer requirements while maintaining investment casting as its core manufacturing process.
Today, Intercast serves customers across aerospace, automotive, flow control, food equipment, industrial, oil and gas, power generation and security markets.
Our team supports customers from early component evaluation and prototyping through investment casting, machining, heat treatment and additional operations required for production components.

1949
The company was established in Addison, Illinois, beginning the investment casting heritage that continues as Intercast today.
Later
The business operated as Electronicast during an earlier chapter of its history.
Later
The company continued to evolve through Escast and its association with Esmark.
Later
The investment casting operation later became part of Fansteel.
Later
Manufacturing expanded into Mexico through Fansteel de Mexico, establishing the foundation for the Reynosa operation.
Later
The investment casting operations were consolidated under the Intercast name.
2019
Intercast joined SeaCast in March 2019, beginning the current chapter of the company's history.
Through each chapter, investment casting has remained at the center of the company's manufacturing experience.
Our Operations
Intercast operates on both sides of the U.S.–Mexico border, combining its manufacturing operation in Reynosa, Tamaulipas with operations in McAllen, Texas.
Manufacturing Operation
Located in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, our manufacturing operation is the center of Intercast's investment casting production and supporting manufacturing processes.
U.S. Operation
Our McAllen operation provides Intercast with a presence just across the border from Reynosa and close access to the U.S. market.
Our Foundry
Intercast's Reynosa operation is located in a major industrial manufacturing region near the U.S.–Mexico border.
The facility brings together the processes and manufacturing resources required to support investment casting production, including engineering support, casting operations, machining, heat treatment, inspection and other value-added activities.
